Diploma and DONE.

Remember?

What a great thing to remember! Send us your thoughts and memories from that night. We would love to reminisce about the good times (or maybe not so good...) and hear what you have to say. Also, check out the first half of the graduation night ceremonies on facebook! Just search Del Oro Golden Eagles. Now THOSE, were the good ole' days. And nights.

Where are they now?

Or maybe the real question should be...WHAT ARE THEY UP TO?

We don't want to give ALL the details away on the graduates of 1980, (that's what the REUNION is for) but we thought it would be fun to catch up on a few individuals and see what they are up to these days.

We encourage you to send in your pics and updates on yourself, or anyone else you know to superrooter11@gmail.com. Make sure you have permission before sending them! Or else you will have to stay after school in detention. WHATEVER.

Christopher White:

Christopher is married and lives with his 3 beautiful children in Christianburg, Virginia. He lost a young child in a tragic accident at the age of 3 1/2. He is currently employed as a College Music Instructor and is also the Director of Jazz Studies. He can be found on facebook and encourages everyone to start sending in their pictures and current activities so he will not feel as lonely on the official blog of the Class of 1980.

Sherry White Phillips: Sherry is married to her husband Dave whom she met playing volleyball. She currently resides in Elk Grove, California and has EIGHT children. Yes that number was 8 it was not a misprint. She is very active in her Church and is VERY excited to see everyone at the reunion. Sherry also meets with many of other 1980 alumni, so if you were thinking of sending in pictures of her for the bog, DON'T. Just send them of everyone else.

So, you should all send a SHOUT OUT to Ms. Cassie Wakley who has taken it upon herself to PERSONALLY make sure that not ONE Del Oro Grad from the year 1980 is missed when sending out the invites for this 30th reunion! HEY GRADS!

Homecoming...Catch the Spirit

Wow! Hard to believe this invitation was sent out OH SO MANY YEARS ago! Can you remember who you were with? Can you remember who the game was against? Oh, can you remember the final score, or better yet, who the HOMECOMING KING and QUEEN were? Hope this brought back some GREAT memories for you. And, looking forward to the Homecoming game in 2010, maybe you can bring back some of these memories, or BETTER YET, make some new ones that you can share at the 35th reunion. Wait, let's not get ahead of ourselves.......

STUFFFFFFFFF...

So how many of you STILL have a t-shirt, a jersey, a hat, a letterman's jacket, or maybe even a cheer outfit that came from our ALMA MATER? Okay, but how many of you can still FIT into them? HAHAHA...break out your gear, and maybe even get some new stuff before the reunion slated for October 2010. Prizes awarded for the "best DRESSED EAGLEs" will be given out! Remember to show your true HIGH SCHOOL SPIRIT! Wear Black and Gold!
